RULES

In order to participate in this exciting event you must satisfy the criteria and abide by the rules of the organiser of the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg as detailed below.

Age limit

Participants must be 18 years or older.

Obligation to wear a helmet

It is obligatory to wear the helmet provided by the organiser for all the races.

Restrictions on the number of competitors

The maximum number of competitors is 320, including 224 men and 96 ladies. Valid bookings will be processed in chronological order. Receipt of your booking will be acknowledged by the organiser (the booking will not be valid until payment has been made).

Categories

There are separate “male” and “female” categories (all airboards will be placed in the ski category and the organiser may accept or reject them as it sees fit).

Booking fee

Booking fee: CHF 100.- excluding ski pass; CHF 140.- including ski pass; CHF 250.- for the VIP package.

Booking date
 
The booking period will begin on 23 January and will end on 30 January. It will only be possible to book online. A draw will be held if there are too many applicants..

Results

You will not be ranked unless you take part in all 3 disciplines.

Cancellation / postponement

Verbier High Five by Carlsberg reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event or reduce the programme, if necessary. In the event of a complete cancellation before the start of the event, the booking fee will be refunded unless the helmet has already been provided. Refunds will not be made in the event of a partial cancellation.

Instructions by the organiser

Participants must strictly adhere to the orders and instructions given by the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to exclude all participants who fail to comply with such orders and instructions or whose inappropriate behaviour poses a risk to or annoys other participants, spectators or members of the organisation.

Liability

Participation in the ski or snowboard races involves risks of falling or accidents. All participants in the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg accept such risks and acknowledge that they are participating at their own risk and responsibility. Participants will also be liable for any damage that they cause to others. All liability on the part of the organiser or its sub-contractors for the acts or omissions of its/their executive bodies, employees or assistants arising from the organisation of the High Five, and the liability of such executive bodies, employees or assistants, are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes between the participants and the organiser and/or persons, executive bodies, employees or assistants of the organiser in connection with or resulting from the event shall be exclusively settled before the competent courts at the site of the head office of the organiser (VERBIER VS).
